so is the slip portion, the pinion u joint, or the CV /CV u joints ?

The shaft is brand new from Tom Woods.

Front most u joint was gritty, I just replaced it. I'll report back.

I'm in Stockton. My grandparents live here. Unfortunately, my grandmother is back in the hospital, so that's where I'm going right now. Wish her luck.

Anyways, my dad and myself are leaving early, and we will be at hermit valley tomorrow at noonish.

I got some work shifted around. I'll go up on Thursday.

Got my Heep packed. Problem is, the little kid has his last football camp tomorrow night so we may not leave until early Friday morning with camp arrival by 9 am.

When is the Friday run? I wanted to leave Thursday afternoon but that is looking unlikely. Still planning to hit a trail by 10?

Here's the tentative schedule:

Friday: Leave Hermit valley at 10AM - maybe get gas on the way if needed, get to Corral Hollow around 10:30-10:45AM (start the trail at the northeast end - closer to Bear Valley, very near the Alpine County Sign...not starting at road 7N09). Fire the engines and start the trail at 11AM. Go to the top of the mountain and eat lunch. Head back to camp the same way we came up due to dust. Get back to camp (maybe 3PM) and do what you want for the rest of the day (swim in lake Alpine sounds good to me or take a nap without listening to kids scream).

Friday night: Leave Hermit Valley at 10PM, get to Slickrock at 10:30PM. Run Slickrock and head back to camp. We start at the entrance closest to Hermit Valley. Get back to camp and (drink and) sleep.

Saturday: Drivers meeting 10AM. Leave camp at 10:15AM to run Deer Valley. We get back to camp when we get back to camp, there may be some running the trail one way, I will be running it both ways. Choose your own adventure. Hit Alpine lake to cool down if needed.

Sunday: Leave camp by 10AM and run Slickrock or just head home. We can decide this later.

CB channel 16 for all trail runs. Make sure your junk isn't crap. Looking forward to having good times with good folks (and Columbus).

Why not meet us at Corral Hollow (starting just South of Bear Valley, just after the Alpine County sign) at 10:30AM? Its gonna be a relatively short run - hit the ridge for lunch, then back to camp. Or, I promise that we will not leave Hermit Valley camp before 10AM. If you make it by then, you will be fine.
