GUNS & AMMO

I think it was a test to see if it would hold up. It didn't.

Looks like it held up just fine to me. Slide didn't lock back on the last mag but that was probably due to using a POS novelty mag.

The bunks they slept on during boot in that movie were identical to the one I slept on at Fort Knox while in Basic Training.

And it's Full Metal Jacket btw.

I don't care about the pistol, I wanna know if anyone else thinks that looks like Troy (Yellaheep).

More on subject than a look a like "Troy"

I finished my .300 BLK pistol, added the reverse penis foam, Phase 5 tactical extended bolt release lever, and single point sling attachment. With out a mag it weights in a tad under 6lbs, for reference my 16" carbine with stock, Eotech, and no mag weights in at a little over 8lbs.

Bore sighted it at 25 yrds. (pretty much lined up with just a little windage) cant wait to shoot it now................

OK, can you explain this WITHOUT using pictures? I'm lost...

..........you blind? AR pistols have the buffer tube sticking out the back, "like a big penis aimed backwards."

".................poke your eye out kid.............."

Guy at work just got an ACR. That thing is bad ass, but at twice the cost of the SIG556 I think I'll stick with that.

Yeah too bad too, back before Remington/Bushmaster licensed to mass produce it and changed things on it from MAGPUL and it was called the "MASADA" and it was a great prototype.

Since then it doubled in price from what they were aiming for and even had recalls on the product. Supposably if remington/bushmaster dont sell so many in a certain amount of time the rights go back to MAGPUL who I think still owns the patent on it.

MAGPUL's MASADA;

Funny how the MASADA/ACR looks like the FN SCAR, wonder who had who first?

I think the SCAR was first, but those are way more expensive and from what I've been reading they're having issues too.

I could get another SKS and a bull pup conversion for it plus about 1500rnds of Russian Hollow point for less than the SIG. Add another 7500rnds to match the price of the ACR and close to that again for the SCAR.

Hmm... I wonder which way I'll go. :)

"This is MY rifle, this is MY gun. This is for pleasure, this is for fun."

Anyone know where that came from or am I that old?!

All I will say is he can do with his gun as he pleases, if you don't want to handle his gun because he stained it black, then don't fondle it. :kissyou:

I think it looks good, but I also am not a big fan of wood furniture anyway, one of the reasons I don't like cowboy guns. Black is black and OD green is the new black.

:jester:

I heard that in 1955 in Army boot camp.

My wife wants a handgun and I'm leaning towards getting her a Sig Mosquito .22LR w/ a pink frame. While looking at them on the interweb I came across this guy. I like it

I've known two people with Mosquito's and neither one were happy, FYI. I shot both of them and they weren't really reliable and quite finicky. Sure, they look cool but that's about it IMO. Now, just about any .22 semi- will be somewhat finicky but I wasn't impressed. I have a Browning Buckmark that I love shooting. It has the occasional stovepipe, but it fails far less than the two Mosquito's I have experience with.

Dutch you saw how much trouble i was having with mine. Its always jamming up. Just seems suuuuper
unreliable.
