Gas or diesel? The diesel ones I thought didn't have room for an intercooler and were susceptible to high EGTs and the problems caused by that.

FINALLY got the jeep running good enough to take out. Still pretty bad DW on pavement though, so I had to stay local.

Went over Rocky Gap Rd, did some shooting and camped near Lovell Canyon Rd. Today went over Wheeler Pass, and several other roads getting there. Got to see a little snow, but most of the snow was still a few hundred feet higher than the top of the pass.

Took the CJ5 out on a local dirt road, Harris Mtn Rd, for camping last night. Not really wheeling, but I had to get out early for the NASCAR truck race today. But I did step on a cactus barefoot, still picking spines out of my toes.

Oddly enough it didn't, I was mostly sober. Just getting out of the tent at 2 in the morning to take a piss, my dumb ass decided not to put on shoes or use a flashlight.

Went out with a couple of friends for a day run.Went to bull frog.Only guy open/open was wrangler and as you can see for his first time on rocks he had fun.Great day, was about 86 out and no body got hurt or broke.

Went out to Glamis this weekend... it was way too hot still... there was hardly anyone out there ehich made for some good riding... Hopefully it cools down enough for Halloween.

Don't count on it.We only do night runs till mid NOV out here(most folks).It is still hot during the day for HALLOWEEN, mid to upper 90's.

Yeah. we usually dont start the season til the middle of Nov but were itching to go this year so we went for a shakedown run and whatnot...
