I'm picking up the DOM for my ladder bar tomorrow (.250" wall 1.75" OD), I've already got everything else I need to build the ladder bar. I'll have it done this week or next week. FINALLY got in the new races on Friday (ordered them June 9) for the old heim joints I'm using, put them back together tonight.

Spent all day saturday wandering around desert roads, but everywhere that looked interesting or headed the direction I wanted was gated off. Broke an axle shaft in a ditch about 6 pm turning around at another gate. Decided not to camp since I was still in the low desert with a thunderstorm was building in the distance and a broke jeep.

Went out in the desert here and tested out the new Spartan that took me way too long to install. Seems to work but makes some loud popping noises sometimes when turning left. My intense web research tells me it will quiet down soon... I sure hope so.

Mine was pretty loud too when first installed, it should quite down after you get some miles on it.

didn't damage the ball joints but that lower balljoint is going to be a PITA to take off whenever I eventually have to, the threads are all buggered up. Put a new u-joint in my spare shaft and got it in tonight.

You won't need alloys with a 60. They are 'stupid' strong in their OEM condition.

Second weekend straight without wheeling :bawl: The last weekend I didn't get out was back in May. Anybody got plans for wheeling out this direction next week?

Went out for a little bit of a shake down run Saturday morning. Jeep is fairly new to me and this is the first time I have had it off road. Spent most of the night Friday changing the axle inner seals and got home around 1:30 AM took a 2 hour nap and headed out.

No serious off roading. Still stock except cut fenders and 30s

Didn't have anything else planned so just met with Rachel and drove down Burro Wash, camped out for the night. Didn't catch any fish but didn't try for very long. Still my favorite local trail, this is the fifth or sixth time I've been down there.

Finally got my front bumpstop extensions done so my coils would quit falling off, but still haven't gotten the ladder bar built.

And the scenery was excellent!

Boathouse Cove again Friday through Saturday with a few friends. Fishing was lousy, only caught 1 catfish that I grilled up later Friday night.
