Some easy wheelin in Bear with Brandon. Ran Cleghorn, to Pilot Rock. Couldn't get through Dishpan Springs, but still made it up to Yellow Post #7. Cruised down 3N16, 3N17, and 3N61 on the way down.

Went to Big bear and ran Gold mountain. John Bull and HOlcomb. Ran those 3 trails all in 5 ish hours.

We took in Pilot Rock, the "X" trail then ran over to Dishpan, Willow Creek and then finish up with Holcum Creeek. Starting at 11:30 am on Sunday it was almost dark when we finished.

This was my first time on Holcum since it was re-opened, quite a bit different than it was 6 years ago. Some big rocks to climb over now.

My friend, Chuck took out his new (to him) Jeep Comando, even the big rocks seemed small while dirving on 40's.

Here he is on one of the tougher parts of Dishpan:



The Boulder Field on the later part of Holcum was a "walk in the Park" for him.



Jeff and I run 35's and did a bit of bouncing and banging on Holcum:

Started off in hungry valley on Saturday where there was a meet and greet, then Sunday I went up with a buddy to go up freeway ridge trail to black gulch trail, had lunch at Evans flat campground and went down Bradshaw trail to freeway ridge an out the way we came. The entire loop was all black diamond trails. It was pretty fun, my door(s) kissed a nice pointy rock and I almost flopped it 3 times in some pretty deep ruts!
