I've actually already ground on that caliper. Going to measure bs in a lil bit.
going to meet tyler tomorrow to pick my jeep up. then headed to hawkpride ohv to ride on saturday. if anyone wants to join and get some good wheeling in.
Soooooooo? What did you have done?
I finally got all the plastics reinstalled after removing them back in December to Raptor line the interior. Also installed a new headliner and rear sound bar. The interior is almost complete. I still need a head rest and harness bar for the rear, figure out somewhere to mount the onboard air tank, and figure out how to mount the rear cargo light now that I have a sound bar.
I stopped by the Maaco in Matthews earlier this week. All I can say is wow. Completely different quote and personality from the Maaco in Charlotte. One of the guys that works there has a Xterra painted the same color I'm getting next week. I finally found a door to replace my caved in door. Cost $100, but it's the only one I've been able to find that was all manual and minor body damage. I'll be swapping hoods, pulling sliders and swapping the door this weekend in preperation to get painted next week.
Here's a writeup I did for the rack installation. That looks great!! I've got the same cargo rack. Do you have any more pictures of how you mounted it? I've been struggling with the mounting of it because I want to be able to take it in and out. I like what you've done.
How was the headliner? I really need to do mine but have been dreading it like crazy!

It was a true pain. I spent a couple trips to the junkyards looking for the right donor. Then it took multiple trips to fabric shops to find enough material. Then the first time we glued the material to the board, I didn't use enough glue and the material fell right off. My main recommendation is buy two cans of the super/extra/industrial/mega strength glue.
The noise is way down after driving around for a year without one. Also the temps in the XJ are much milder.
So what keeps someone from just reaching under the rack, pulling that pin, and just carrying the whole shebang off with them???:
