Weekend is over...what did you get done?

That looks great!! I've got the same cargo rack. Do you have any more pictures of how you mounted it? I've been struggling with the mounting of it because I want to be able to take it in and out. I like what you've done.

What brand and model are those tires? Do you have any close up shots of the tread?

Thanks

Finished the new crossmember and radius arm installation. Had to make new lower coil mounts to correct a coil misalignment issue. Still have to fab a new lower track bar mount and lower shock mounts.

I wish I could find a good set of 31s for a steal. Got more pics of the CJ? I like that color? I'm thinking about trying to find a nice YJ to drive around in the summer.

Check back in this thread somewhere...I think I posted pics of it with my matching M-416 behind it. It is "Islander Blue"...remember the YJ Islander edition! LOL But I don't have the gay looking sun painted down the sides at least. I've had TJ's and I had a YJ that I never got to drive...I like the CJ5 better (I say if you're considering a CJ 7 go ahead and get a YJ though). It feels like you are driving a go-kart...especially with the 304 under the hood.

Well, I would actually much rather a TJ but they're a little out of my price range. Plus, a YJ is a lot cheaper to make look good. I want one with a 4.0 tho.

Yeah TJ's are nice. I had a YJ with a 360 in it...but I never got to drive it. :(

But now I need to find a CJ6 (which I used to have too) to match my 5...not the same color though! LOL THis is of course once my MJ is finisheder (new word right there) and then get some headway made on my J3000 motorhome.

Spent the day with family for Easter and somewhat unsuccessfully fixing mom's Jeep.

If it's not one Jeep, its the other!

Well since Mark is a busy man and don't have time to upload pics of his purdy new axle I guess Ill do it for him! :wierd:

Seem a little tall??? Blame it on the rear springs... Hey, they won't axle wrap!

Your axle looks just like that except your pinion is ~4" lower to the ground. :D

Those are Rusty's sway bar mounts. I admit that in the past I was worried about their durability being so tall, but I have used a few sets and so far no problems using them ON ROAD only. Its a must to disconnect off road. We could have actually gotten away with a straight tie-rod but due to future plans and wanting to be able to re-use the DOM for those future plans, we decided to bend it now.

Tyler, your track bar brace is a work of art. Lookin' good.

The only problem with Mark's rig is now I can't hardly get into it. Tyler should have welded some step hoops onto the sliders.

Ok ok ok. It looks very similar from the FRONT. :)

You weren't supposed to look at the pinion!

I'm hesitant to run those again. I can't find the picture but I folded one of those Rusty's mounts in half on my Junk while driving down the road.
