The rumor comes from:
For A COUPLE OF YEARS when he was 6 he went to a school that practiced both christianity AND the muslim faith. The muslim part is because the school's students were primarily muslim, because it was an indonesia. But it was not a muslim school.
This was only because his mother (who was not a muslim) re-married to an indonesian guy who was a muslim (non practicing), and then moved to indonesia.
