But, you can't please everyone. You gotta take a side and hope for the best. This country has a massive middle class. It needs money to run, and it has some people that making way more then others. The money has to come from somewhere. I don't believe you can just cut spending and cut taxes for everyone like McCain wants to and hope it turns out. Sounds like a pipe dream to me.

This country has a massive middle class and that is by choice; you've chosen your position in life rightfully so under the "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" clause. Good on you. At least you believe in the constitution as a document of empowerment of your freedoms, unlike Obama. He believes it is a document that stops the gov't from helping you by resdistributing wealth, which clearly is socialism.

If you chosen where you are in life and are happy, why should myself or the gov't or anyone else interfere in your life and legislate how you have to live, what you have to have and what your retirement account looks like? You've made the choice. You can be happy with it or change it, it is up to you, not the gov't.

The gov't spends more money per person now than it ever has, why more? Why can't the middle class help themselves; whom is holding them down?

If he DOES, he's going against what he said, and well, that's a politician for you, we've heard "read me lips" before, what does it matter. You gotta at least believe .

I can say similar for for McCain, he wants to lower takes for everyone, especially the wealthy, and "cut spending." too. We need money and we need funding. Being in the military, I'd rather have a retired O-6 running the world's most powerful military, rather than some douche who probably has the least military experience possible. I'd question whether or not he'd know how to operate any weapon...

I am happy, and I don't think it should be your obligation to pay for your healthcare. That's just wrong. I'm totally against a completely government run health care. That's not what Obama wants to do. Obama wants to provide the OPTION for those uninsured to get into a healthcare that is run by the government. That's different. It's just like any other health care provider.

So let me get this straight, you'd rather have the tax benefits cut on your current healthcare that you provide to your employers (so that everyone in the world without healthcare can go "buy there own"), then to have your current healthcare plan you provide not change one bit on the basis that you think they may go from what he's promised "it's your option, provide health care, or get taxed", to "it's not option, you'll get taxed."

That sounds like the credit will lower your taxable income, thus lowering your taxes, thus putting more money in your pocket at the end of the year for jeep crap... and you get health care out of the mix. Not a bad deal, eh?

As for where the credit comes from? How about starting with cutting the size of gov't down to something reasonable?

I don't think he's ever said that the cutting of spending was going to pay for the health care. That plan was to help pay for the upper classes tax cuts.

I don't need the tax credit for health care. I pay 10 bucks a month.

Whether Obama or McCain is elected people are going to have to make some tough decisions about money, they are going to have to tighten their belts and suck it up (if they haven't done so already).
