Let me preface this simply, I own a business and employ more than a few people.

If Obama is elected and:

Raises taxes on my business, I will employ much fewer people. That is right, I'll cut jobs to cover the increased taxes meaning more middle income people out of work. I pay more than my fair share of taxes as it is, I will pay no more. Remember, every time you pay income taxes out of your paycheck, I have to match that amount.... every single time. I'm taxed on all of the equipment I own ANNUALLY even though I paid sales tax on that item and I've had it for over 13 years. Corp fees, fuel taxes, sales tax... I could go on and on. If I were to pay less in taxes I could then run a more profitable business and employ more people AND positively affect other companies and individual vendors as I would have money to spend for items like office cleaning, fleet maintainence, cardboard vendors... all things I've cut out in recent weeks.

Decides that I need to contribute to some sort of socialized medicine, I'll dump the 100% coverage I give my employees of PPO Blue Cross insurance with dental and vision and make them take the gov't coverage that I will have to pay for (HMO on the standards of Kaiser).

If my taxes were less my contribution to the bettering economy would be substantially more than if not. This not only includes my employees, it also includes all of the vendors that I support, which ranges in the triple digit number.

While I hate them both, I hate the lower tax guy the least.

I completely agree with you. I have a buddy who owned(until last month) a computer business. He had a large number of clients and very little time to himself but could not afford to hire somebody because of the taxes involved with having an employee other than himself. plus with bringing in over 10k a month he was taking home less than 2k due to taxes.

Obama wants to provide the OPTION for those uninsured to get into a healthcare that is run by the government. That's different. It's just like any other health care provider.

The OPTION is the key part. If anything everyone should be signed up for this insurance and have the OPTION to opt out.
The the OPTION to opt in nothing is going to change. People can't afford health insurance now, what is going to change? If they opt in they will still have to pay a monthly fee.

So lets say I'm not making that much and don't want to pay the $200(just a number) that it will cost me a month for Obama's Gov't health care. So I don't opt in. I get sick and I go to the city hospital, they treat me I can't pay, and the city is stuck paying the bill, which falls back on tax payers.

There is no good answer for health care, well you could join the military and see what Gov't run health care is all about. 1 month wait to see a DR, or they just put you on motrine for a week and tell you to come back after you've take all your motrine. And thats for family members.

My ballot is already counted, mailed it last month. I cancelled some Obama supporters vote in PA.

People don't understand the concept of government and taxes. "Hey, lets have government-controlled free healthcare!" No moron, those bills just go to every American. Even under Obama's plan, (like stated above) there will still be loopholes in which the taxpayer will get stuck with the bill. Healthcare is expensive, and theres no plan that can make it extremely cheap. The only thing you can do is have the government keep a closer eye on insurance companies to keep them from screwing us over...
