your point?

He has a lot of hair.......you should see it. :)

I'm sure Pete means that 5-8 lbs isn't a concern for most of us. I'm cutting weight where I can, but my priority is to have a rig that I can pound on and won't look thrashed in a couple of years, which also means it has to be able to roll a few times without bending tubes.

Well, after being tied up with other things for a couple of weeks, I'm back at it this weekend. Scrappy came down for the weekend to help, here's what we did last night.

Moving it out to do some last minute cleaning underneath:

Actually, why should it matter to Mud(whatever) what Goatman (or anyone else for that matter) is doing on their project? His personal opinion is pointless and is obviously based upon an limited amount of knowlege, experience, and creativity. It provides nothing constructive to this thread.

Please excuse my opinion because it provides nothing constructive either. At least I am apologizing. :)

I wanted to subscribe to this thread out of interest in the project anyway.

Alright fist off I'd like to appoligize for the dumb things said about the buggy at some point this morning or last night. My wife was right I DO need to babysit the buddies when they are over. It was dumb, I appologize. Please don't over analize the statements made.

You wouldn't lie to us, would you? :D

Do we know the buddies? That could change everything. Said buddies could need a nipple rub with sand paper on the next outting. It could be the evening entertainment.

LOL tis a good case for having a Guest account on the computer and strictly sticking to it when company is over.

I know my buddies have set me up pretty well before too. (maybe on here too, ya never know...) I'm some contrary anyway so a minor blast is likely to go un-noticed unless it hit a juicy target.

BTW nice reply Richard.

Is it still gonna be a Real XJ?

I just got home from Goatman's house... I am not going to answer a single question on this rig, because I think Goatboy is keeping its future under wraps. I have one word to describe this THING...

UNIQUE.

WCGIC... you better raise the bar.:firedevil

Looking good Richard you are making me want to finnish my buggy

Scrappy came down for the weekend and we finally got some tube bent. Troy (steagall9301) and Cracker came on Sunday. We got the rockers bent up and in place, the lower A pillars and cowl bar in, and the start of the B pillar hoop, and a start on the rear. Troy plated the outside of the frame rails and we started on the rear suspension mounts. So, more stuff cut off and new stuff finally added.......it was a good weekend. Here's the gang on Sunday.......Matt, Avery, and Troy.

The honest truth is that both Goatman and I offered him gloves, but he refused. Rich even tried to hand him some! It was all in vain, cuz he sure can notch tubing like a son-of-a-b!tch.
