march 8th, sunday, old stage trails

Well the Wife wanted to hit Safeway tonight so I'm all set on my own grub - gonna do some manifold cooking - turkey/roastbeef/cheddar melts..... yum. :thumbup:

Gonna get gas and be on my way around 8-815. I'll have CB on channel 14 in the truck if anyone sees me. If you other Littleton guys wanna meet up somewhere along 470 or I 25 holler in the morning.

where the hell were you guys? i drove up that long ass washboard road (old stage) and took a right across where the creek/pond was dried up, and drove up to the clearing to the entrance to eagle rock trail and saw no one. got on my CB on channel 14 and called out for the group and no one answered. saw my boy with the white toyota 4 runner leaving later on and he said he was in front of yella and he was the last person on the trail... no bbq? the girl and I came up to hang and check out the madness but no one was to be found. just saw a yellow XJ on the way back down the mtn.
 
Hey everyone its Bayne from earlier on Suran Rap with the black on black 2000 xj just wanted to say thanks for taking me on my first off roading adventure and i appreciate everyone's help. Hope to go with you guys again!

P.S. I will make sure i air down and disconnect my sway bars for next time haha.

Let me know if anyone wants some chrome nerf bars...

I sympathize Troy. Its easy to see you don't have teenagers. Sometimes I think its useless to try to change the whole texting thing. Our youngest will answer her phone and all she'll say is "text me". I ask her if she even know how to have a conversation and she'll say "why, when we can text?".

It is maddening.:flamemad:
