The company I work for is looking to find a niche, and they are finally seeing that Jeepstuff might be it. Besides myself there are 5 others in the ranks that own Jeeps, and we have commandeered the owner's brain. He now believes that it is worth finding a later-model Jeep and buying it to build. So, if anyone knows of a solid-running, but questionable-bodied Jeep fitting the specs above, PM me. We are looking for something to build as a showcase/competition rig that may very well be the building block of something different on the front range. We have been a structural steel fab shop/erection outfit for 21 years, and recently branched out into ornamental iron. We have extensive CAD/CAM facitlities including oxy/fuel and plasma cutting/gouging, braking, shearing and design. The newest member of our family is a JD model 4 with an in-house-designed hydro system. So, we can do almost anything that is required, and my XJ has been a catalyst for the owner's interest. So, like I said, if you see or hear or have such a vehicle, lemme know. I have been given authorization to find an purchase a project. Should be fun!
