If I knew how to use the GPS well enough I'd go up with the kids and put the last of them up. If someone is good with a GPS I could probably do it this weekend.

I'd be in favor of dropping the price per hand to 10.00.

Actually, I don't think it would matter. The people who are willing to spend the money will just buy more hands to better their odds. I know that is what I would do.

I think that $10.00 a hand is going to fit better. I dont see as many people buying multiple hands for $20 with the stuff that we have. Maybe if it is $10 people are more likely to buy three or four hands instead.

If I remember correctly the $20 per hand was set so we do not have to worry about registration/dinner cost. Most people would by two hands. That would give up to $10 per hand to cover the cost of dinner. That would leave $10 per hand to pad our chapter account.

It is the catch 22. The lower the cost of the hands the more people may buy, but each hand nets less to cover dinner and less for the chapter.

Last year we made out pretty good. But there was about $200 in extra cash donations just for the Cannon Mountain Fund.

Ok so if they would but 2 hands at $20 we get $40

If we lower the price to $15 per hand. We get them to but 3 hands for only $5 more than the 2 hands and we get $45

If the price is $10 per hand we get them to by 4 hands we get $40.

If we change it, maybe $15 would be good and we push for 3 hand each......

I placed Cache 11 at Burger Stop. I posted the coordinates on the Event board. Ryan I just left all of the cards in there. The owner decided he would rather have as many people come as possible.

I just did a quick head count from the threads.
So far the attendance is a bit lower that last year. But with the price of gas and the 25th anniversary event we knew that would be the case.

Looks like a possibility of 24 adults and 8 kids (32) for dinner.

That includes 3 not-yet-members on the list.
