about $225 for 6' of 2" 7075 rod from McMaster Carr. I'm sure you could get it cheaper though. Then it's just a matter of having/buying/borrowing the right taps, and presto,..links!

There wouldn't be much savings (if any) then.
I paid about $130 per arm, already tapped.
Long arms are 36" eye to eye.
Let me look into the taps though.

Paul, are you running a center limiting strap or shock limiting strap?

And Jes, the bungs alone cost almost that. Are you using scrap for the arms?

They are from Branik.
I'm thinking about ordering everything I'd need to build them myself, but there really isn't much savings in that.
At least I can hook up the rest of for a tad bit less than Branik.

The wife was out of town and I spent the last few days building a fence and
doing some landscaping (all of this in order to convince her to let me spend the next 10K on this build!)

She gets home tonight.......

Yeah...that would be a good indicator.

just triangulate with duct tape and it should hold....
