Here they are during the day with the Jeep parked at the opening of a garage.

I am having one bit of trouble with it though. With the headlights on, if I turn the high beams on they come on, but when I turn the high beams off and go back to low beams, the high beams stay on. The high beams won't go back off until I turn the headlights off completely. I got a completely new harness with this setup that is basically the same as an upgrade harness that alot of guys drop in to get more light out of stock headlights or drop in H4 conversion housings. My only guess is maybe I have a relay that is sticking. Anyone else have a better idea to what might be causing this? The projectors just have a little shield that moves inside of it to allow more light to escape for high beams so I know this doesn't have anything to do with the ballasts.
One of those flew over my house just before the police and fire dept showed up to tell me I wasn't allowed to have bonfires.
I was a bit confused, as it was the smallest bonfire I'd ever had, probably the 20th one in the last year and a half, and all my neighbors have em all the time...
Ha, i was thinking "wonder when Ken is gonna reply"!![]()
Double check your wiring on the relay. I'm not a electrical guy... But unless the shield is spring loaded wouldn't you need another pole on the relay to make the servo(assuming that's what moves the shield) move the opposite way? Idk maybe I'm talking out my rear end but there may be something with a dual beam projector on a wiring harness for halogens.
Yeah, I was just out in the driveway sweeping up my mess when the patrol car came cruising by. He stopped and motioned me out to the street. Said they were chasing/looking for a guy on foot that was one street over, gave me a description....not sure what he was up to, but it must have been somewhat serious since they had the bird up in the air. I told him I was armed and would be ok. He just smiled and nodded, and pulled off.
Must be something in the air today in the Southeast. I was out on the floor working this morning and out of the corner of my eye I see a patrol car drive by, then I hear it race close, and all of a sudden, he's pulled INTO my warehouse. Cop gets out, asks if I've seen anybody unusual walk by today. Told him no but i'd keep an eye out and got him to show me a picture of the guy on his laptop in his car.
The city of Pineville where I work is a very small town, so when there's 2 patrol cars in the area all day, that leaves the rest of the town pretty much open for anybody to do anything lol.
Carry Daily apply sparingly.... cant wait till im out of school and can carry all the time. Ive turned down jobs i cant carry at.....
i've done this for years. never once broke one, although i've been through several dana 30 shafts, a carrier, all the bearings, and a ring and pinion. ask anybody who has wheeled with me if i'm easy on it... but this has been covered in depth on here....^, currently running 32's on a dana 35![]()
