Weekend is over...what did you get done?

The last couple weeks haven't been the best for me. I have had lower back problems, stemming from an accident at work back in 1994, off and on now for several years. This time it's really got me "down";) Last time I had a spell was a year and a half ago. I ended up with a steroid injection in the spine. Now I'm not one for needles :D, but man did I feel better after that. Anyway, after my MRI on Wednesday, Dr. told me to get another shot. So I go Monday morning to get another shot in the back. I hope the results from this one are similar to the last one I had. Meanwhile, I sit as long as I can, I lay as long as I can, and walk as little as I have to while sucking on pain killers and muscle relaxers. It totally sucks. I can't do anything!!:rattle:

Back pain sufferers UNITE!!!!!

I've got an L5 Spondylolisthesis (broke L5 into 2 pieces) 18yrs ago....looking at getting glued and screwed back together this summer....what kind of pathology you got going on up there?:viking:

I hear crystal meth does wonders for not needing to sleep :shiver:

We're trying to stay away from chemical substances at this time...trying to back away from the caffeine....been increasing the intake since last summer....I like a little coffee with my sugar, milk, and chocolate:scared:

Wow. Broke in two pieces. What did you do to do that?

I currently have a disc protrusion @ L4 and L5. Hopefully with a steroid shot the pain will subside and they will un-protrude on their own.

Disc bulging huh? Interesting. Usually an acute disc irritation will not like sitting. Most of my acute disc patients couldn't sit still. An LESI can improve inflamation, and improve pain, which will stop your bodies reaction to the problem. But, the protrusion is not likely to un-protrude. It's a weak spot in your structure. You have to understand spinal mechanics, and your pathology to control the stresses on your spine. That's how you manage back problems. Controlling the stresses will help avoid aggravation, or flare ups. There are a ton of reasons for LBP. Got any pain into either leg? Since this started years ago, I'll assume you have been to Physical Therapy, and are a Back Expert at this time:wave: As for me, I was young and dumb, and tried to get a fridge up a flight of stairs on my own...oops:scared: I'm wiser now:wave:

Got the lift off and sold it.
Still struggling to get the Damn wheel locks off since the moron po never told me there were any on it. 8(
2mrrw im taking the lift of the green one and getting it ready to go to Nc to trade for my new 6.5" lift kit and my 33s n wheels. 8)
Other than that not too much. 8)

Finally got the Jeep out of the shop. After a new flex plate and 4.88's, still making noises from the rearend. Traced it down to the Cardon joint in the driveshaft, swapped the front to the rear. Looks like I'm headed to the JY tomorrow for another front shaft.

I replaced my first ever drum brakes. Wasn't near as bad as it looked.... Moved to the front for some new pads and rotors... Found out the passenger side U joint on the axle shaft was bad... so I pulled my first ever axle, boy that hub was a mother.

I probably will next time because I'm lazy and dont' have a garage or a press and I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time on it again.

Straightend out my right fender where the wind caught the door and bent it clear forward.............turned out half decent. Looked for work........no luck.

I installed my Detroit locker in the D-30. I liked the Aussie but was always worried about the anemic stock carrier with my 35's/4.88's

As you can see in this pic, the carrier in the middle and on the right are stock and the bling on the left is the Detroit, much more beef!
