I did nothing Jeep related.
Had my daughters 1st birthday party, cut down some trees and bought a house.
Bought a house.....??? I thought you guys were going to build on that property?
Bought a modular/mobile deal to put on that property.
I went to the metro ATL Go Topless event and hung out with some freinds. Ended up wining a $100 pair of RC LED pods in the raffle, then a friend offered to trade me straight up for his 98 E350 FF D60. So, i would be $40 into a 60 axle with the big bore spindles that would accept 35 spline shafts. Sound like a good deal? I'd need some 35 spline side gears, gears, shafts, weld the carrier, disc brakes, and i'd probably truss it.
ah! I see.
Yup, looks like it'll be arriving right before the Crawl. Which means that on your way home from the Crawl you can come help me move stuff.![]()
Truss a FF D60? Why? You plan on jumping your xj off a mountain? Also I thought the E350 was a semi float with disk brakes? Or is that the newer ones?
A small bridge for link mounts rather. The 99+ come with discs in a FF axle. I might try and gut one at a PaP and take the brakes, or just do the D70 Ruffstuff swap.
Things are cheap to build. 35 spline chromos, side gears or spool, gears, cover, brackets, brakes...
Dana 60s are for lead footed hillbillies
I think I need 60's...
Yea I have straight 35 spline yukons in my rear. Not even chromo's! I've broken the front stock stubs but that is about it. I'd really like to go to 35 spline stubs soon.
