Is it slid into position in those pictures? If so, it looks like you have a lot more room than I do. I can open my glove box about 2 inches. Just enough to cram my hand in there, not enough room to see what I'm grabbing.

I know it's early and all but I assume you mean where did I anchor my lap belts? Factory seat belt bolts. Is that what you mean?

Looking good! On the glovebox, I've seen people cut theirs so it will fully open and just leave the small piece behind the tube in place. It's not the most elegant solution but at least you'll still retain use of it without standing on your head trying to find something in it. I'm not sure how the exposed vinyl edge will look after a year or so baking in the sun, but they're cheap enough in the junkyard to replace if it starts looking like crap.

On the ends of my Racequip harnesses is a metal tab with a 1/2" bolt hole through it.

Buy Racequips. Great harness and they've lasted well. They're $120 for a set of 2 on Ebay.

I just don't use it. lol I can get in it but it's a pain. I have to look through the windshield to see inside of it. There's a bunch of junk in there.

See, my front tube is against the dash. I think you have more room than I do for the glove box. Not that it really matters.

Voted. Yeah, I think when my brother helped me tack everything in place and we moved it back the dash spreader kicked the feet about a little and this was as close as I could get it again and weld 1/2 the foot plate to the floor. There is about 1/2" between the headlight switch and the tube when pulled out, plus not that this matters but it is 1.5" tube. Burned this in. This is the B pillar. Couldn't get all the heat shield off, but it's on good lol. Front is all welded in, now onto the rear.

Getting some much needed work in on the XJ this weekend. Miss driving it. Can't wait to get it back on the road, let alone the trail.
