as far as those alloy seals go those are the lder style d30 shafts theres a lot more material around the neck, and if memory serves me correct those shafts only had the 260 joints in them, pick some big joint 297 shafts and everything should bolt up fine

Well I got the axles in today, thanks to decent weather and a vacation day. I've still gotta hook up the brakes, install trackbar, and install the V8 GC tierod. Bo what do ya think? Not too bad for a couple months of work huh?

Yeah, I'm pickin up the parts for that right now. I got a new V8 GC tierod for $30 brand new. All the steering stuff will be on tomorrow along with the trackbar and brakes.

I got my Ruff Stuff Specialties rear diff cover on and my new Rusty's track bar frame mount on I can finally turn to the left again.

I cannot wait to drag it over some rocks, looks weird to have something clean under my XJ. Still need to build the stroker so it will run on 6 cylinders again.

Rode around Saturday with a friend looking for a house to possibly rent for next year, and sat on my ass yesterday and watched football all day.

I tried changing my UCA bushings. Te new ones are a much tighter fit than the old ones. I need a press. I will try to use my Hi-Lift first.

Started the weekend off with our Cub Scout Lock-In. 28 boys and a hand full of leaders. Kids were wired on cokes untill 4 am. Everyone had a blast though. Hope to get all of my minor stuff on the jeep polished off this week for LBL.

haha! No, i didn't have a camera. I slide off in a shallow creek sideways. laid on the driver side. Other than breaking off my mirror and crushing the drip rail there wasn't any damage.

Well it's not my XJ and not the end of the weekend, but I got my new halftop on my TJ today. I'm gonna hit the rollbar with some black paint.

Well...the weekend's only starting but already i've had to sit in traffic on I85 in Charlotte....45 minutes to move one mile. Then I get home and drop $68 on a new battery for the Jeep.

Atleast it'll start on its own now....
