Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Went to Chocoloca & played around for a while...

He welded some and got a new blister on the top of his head.:laugh2:

Ohh you know I will have fun with that tomorrow...LOL Next time PICs please...

Love ya Glenn :kissyou:

I helped to swap out an AW4. That was a blast!!!!

This weekend PacificEd and Mark came over to help me swap out my trans. Finished it off and added fluids this morning, got to drive it around the neighborhood and it's running great. Eric, thanks for helping me pull it, Mark and Ed thanks for all your help. I couldn't have done it without ya'll. (Mark, sorry about the smashed finger.)

Just a heads up...if you try to use trans cooler lines off of an 1980's AW4 on a 90's AW4, the line port closest to the bell housing on the 80's trans is 1/8" deeper than that of the 90's. So, you'll have to swap those two ports out to make the 80's line fit. Just a random bit of info I thought I would pass along.

Went to a party Saturday night, got up early Sunday and picked some friends up and took off for the Mountains for a couple of days. Had a pretty good time despite the rain every morning, and cookin the brakes comin down one mountain.

I sure do love winter break from school....4 weeks to do whatever the heck I want for a change! It's going to suck hardcore goin back to class at 8am on Monday though...

Sautrday morning, pulled the rear axle from my "new" Cherokee, sold it a little later on, then installed my 8.25 w/ 4.10s and a LS, and 1" blocks, to add to the rustys 3.5'' aal and bolted up my turdytrees, sat around the rest of the day.

Sunday swapped the front axle for my 4.10 geared d30. Got it all bolted up, and spacers in and thats it for sunday..

Yesterday i went to see my lawyer then got home around 12:30, met kingmeirl, and we swapped the knuckles, hubs, and shafts between the two front axles, got the front brakes on, and bolted up the 33s, and sat her down on all fours FINALLY LIFTED !!!!! Went for a ride in his xj on 38s, flexed it out in a buisiness next to my house.

Last night, i got the trans crossmember bolted up, with the lowering blocks, changed plugs, wires, cap, and rotor buton, installed starter, took the alternator and bracket off my 97' only to find out they are different :twak: bolted up the starter, and called it a night. Now i have all the little BS stuff to do before i can drive it :bs:

A week late but last weekend I got my Rigid bumper and my XRC8 winch mounted up!

I have a black aluminum hawse fairlead on the way so I can get rid of that ugly bulky roller fairlead. I also need to throw in my spacers to bring the front back level with the rear, it was already sitting about .5" low before I put the bumper/winch on, and then I need to clean up my trimmed fenders.

Looking good Bruce! Nice choice on the bumper.

Thanks Nick! We were up in Boone last week...I thought about hitting you up to see if you wanted to show us some local trails but we ended up not having the time. I think we're coming up again early Feb to go to Sugar again...maybe we can meet up then.

Just spent the day driving from Bradyville, TN to Dyersburg, TN to Manchester, TN to Bradyville. I started driving at 6am and got in at 6pm. Rain is no fun.

Met Jason (Grimus99xj) at Rough Country. We chatted for a few minutes and got hooked up with two 4.5" kits with full springs. The kits look NICE. They have a nice facility and Jason took some time out of his busy day to talk with us. Thanks Jason!

I forgot to get everybody their tires. Awww, bummer. Sorry Ghost, Mr. Shrek and bigalpha. Maybe next time.

Well I got my axles back with the 4.56's installed with them locked front and rear. I also ran into a problem with my Alloy axle seals. Anybody knows what the deal is with them please let me know.

I also got some different wheels and tires for it. I painted the Classic II's gunmetal, cause I wasn't diggin the chrome and rolled them under it to see what they will look like on there. I'm going to be putting some 33x13.50 Toyo M/T's on them.

Here are the seals. They will not go in far enough for the hub assembly to bolt up.

I know I am a little late, but the rain slows everything down.

I got some axles brought over from Matt. He was only supposed to give me two 8.25's, but somehow I got two more D30's as well. I love having friends that need room!

Got some stuff for sale now...........
