Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Loafing right now...

Cleaned all the bracketry off the passenger side of my "new" soon to be super shiny dana turdy. On to the inner Knuckle/C. I hope it goes quicker than the drivers side.

Got the Scout off my lift (no axles in it) and onto a trailer. A big job that I was dreading. Now the way is clear to install my new lift kit on my XJ.

Need to get the XJ in the air and hose everything with PB Blaster so the install will go a little smoother.

Also got a tow rig lined up for the longer haul rides. A 1987 Chevy crew cab dually 4x4. It should do the job and just needs a few little things fixed before it's good to go. This thing is a hoss.

Replaced my oil filter adapter o-rings, installed some 4.5" lift springs, fixed my TC leak at the speed sensor, replaced my alternator, and went wheelin at woolies and sliced a tire.

Hardwired and mounted my inverter on the side on the center console.

Trimmed and finished my front fenders(for the 32" tires that are going on).

Adjusted my rear brakes shoes(yay, I have rear brakes again!)

All in all not a bad weekend...next is the rear fenders, my rear latch problem...and by then my lift and new wheels should be here to install!

moved my girlfriend and her boys into their new place.... im loafing on the couch watching football and making sure the kids stay out of trouble :D

Spent a good chunk of what was supposed to be a weekend of relaxing at the parents, cooking and cleaning up after some extended family that decided to come stay the weekend and thought this was a bed and breakfast.

Some where in between that, I changed the oil on mom's Jeep, looked at my step sister's car to see why it was acting up, scolded her for not changing the oil in her car in whats now 8 months...and helped my friend diagnose a faulty injector on his sister's Maxima (POS).

Cleaned out my shop, brought my hp30 over to a friends house, he's going to be regearing it for me.

Went wheeling with matt...got stuck, got pulled out, saw him slice the tire. Had a great time

I did nothing to my XJ this weekend. But I did dig my wall mount for my plasma tv out and mounted it back on the wall.

I have been going over everything needed to do the WJ brakes/steering swap on my XJ. So far I have the steering knuckles, calipers(both styles Teves and Ackabono) and WJ rotors. Going to go to a local steel supplier to get a 1/4 plate to make my hub spacers and caliper spacers from, have a plasma cutter at work(body shop actually) and I learned how to use it.

i played beer pong friday night, saturday was my 19th bday, so you can only imagine what happened that night after family left. sunday went wheeling, almost rolled the xj on its maiden voyage and finally walked in the door at 11:30 last night.

I pulled off a destroyed rear RC shock, replaced the heater control valve, and tried to get a broken shock bolt out.. 2/3 isn't too bad. OH, and put new 33x12.50s on..

installed rear DS on the 3B, also notched front bumper for 8274, replaced valve stem on a 31...
had to work saturday...
predrilled holes for 8274 after work.
filled in old bolt holes, and welded on CB antenna bracket...
after welding, took the Willys out on buddy's trail... with the bald 31 "trailer tires"
(31s needed to fit it on friends 16' utility trailer)

had my replacement motor fall off the stand and break part of the block. found a whole jeep for 600 bucks that has a butt load of pars for my other jeeps to include a SPOTLESS motor. the boy when wheeling in the snow. and i watched my wife leave for iraq for a year.
