Weekend is over...what did you get done?

ALSO, What the hell is up with Mustang week at the beach... I probably saw 3,000 Mustangs. I saw some nice ones and crappy ones. When are we starting Jeep week?!

That would be in Daytona. By the way you went within about 10 miles of the house.

The Toyota "lift from hell" is over!!!! I think I will drink a beer and celebrate, and I don't even drink:dunno:

I will post pics of the rusty beast later.

Thats why I have one of both. lol It's actually a pretty fun little vehicle. My better half is usually the one driving it tho. The first time it's wrecked it's getting a 44 up front and 9inch in the back, long arms and coil overs. :D

Most of the guys who SFA them steal D30's out of XJ's :D. Saw one in Uwharrie a couple of years ago that looked real good. Guy was from Wilmington...can't remember his name.

Mustang week at the beach lol. I've got quite a few friends who are into Mustangs like we are into XJ's. Pretty much all of them were down there.

Hmm, Where at? We spent most of our time on I-20 on the way there. We got off of 20 in Florence.

Bishopville. :) Same place Dave lives. :twak:

They had Jeep Beach in May 2010.. you missed it!

See, that would be awesome but I want a Liberty on 38s. Stretch it about 20 inches... Yeah. lol

Next time I come thru there I'll be sure and let ya know so I can come see ur junk.

My bro was down there for mustang week, driving his 2000 mustang gt, supercharged, bit of work done. Said it was a blast.

Yeah, it was interesting seeing all the mustangs but the MAJORITY of them were late models. I wanted to see the REAL Mustangs. I saw 5 Pre-1970 Mustangs out of Thousands of Mustangs... Ugh.

Meh... Dad has a 70 and a 2005, I like most mustangs, ofcourse the old shelbys, but also really fond of the trunk cars. 87+

I had a 87 LX 5.0 Coupe, I ordered it stripped down with no power options or AC. I added the SVO handling kit, Nitrous, JBA headers, JBA higher ratio rocker arms, under drive pulleys, CAI, 4.10 gearing and a full case Detroit, ripped out the interior and went racing. I ran the 1/8 mile drag strips and did some SCCA auto-cross with it. That car would haul the mail and hold a corner!

My best 1/8 mile run was 8.12/90 mph(w/Mickey T's), can't remember my autocross times but they were competitive.

I sold the car after getting pulled for running 140 on the local interstate, luckily a LEO buddy got me and let me off. I sold the car before I killed my dumb a$$ in it.

It is still local and has been put back to original condition and is a show car, I saw it recently at a show and it only had 30k on it. The owner offered it to me for 17k but my fast stang days are over.

went WHEELIN! THE WHOLE REASON I HAVE A JEEP! woohoo! the waggy performed flawlessly! this is the first real wheelin trip since the motor blew up! auswee and i went to short mountain, and had a blast, as usual. i had been a little worried about my carby, because i had heard a bunch of horror stories about them causing a flipped rig in rough terrain and whatnot, but not once did i have a problem with it! auswee's jeep did great too! he's got a full '05 rubicon drivetrain, complete with locked dana 44's, and needless to say he didn't have a bit of trouble going anywhere! i got hung up between two trees in the ferocious white whale, but the damage wasn't nearly as bad as i suspected, and i think i can push the metal back out for a good 50 footer look.
not happy about some messed up sheetmetal, but that's part of using a jeep to her full potential, and at least it was caused by a fun time and not a grocery kart at the local piggly wiggly! :D
all in all, i'm proud. tennessee represented herself well for our friend from new hampshire. i'm sure he'll start a thread soon with lots of pictures!

didn't happen over the weekend, but oh well.....
