I won't be voting this year. I've followed very little of what's gone on in this election, and honestly, I like it that way.

4 years ago I was dating a girl who was all into young Republicans crap, got caught up in it myself and thought the world was over when Obama won.

You know what's changed that I've felt in the last 4 years, politically? NOTHING. In fact, I'm much better off than I was 4 years ago, better job, making a lot more money. Why? Because I decided to hustle instead of whine about politics. Obama, Romney, whatever. I don't see either causing significant change for me over the next 4 years. And I'm happier not getting my panties in a bunch over this crap. I strongly suggest many of you give it a try.

you don't have to get emotionally involved in the decision making, it's pretty basic.

there's a candidate who wants to grow the entitlement class, through government "freebies" food stamps, welfare, etc, etc

and there's a candidate who wants to reduce the population of amercians who rely on the government.

simple choice.

I am voting Gary Johnson. Everyone else should too!

Yeah let's waste our vote on a party that is 15 to 25% of the populist & make sure Obama gets relected, kinda like Perot & Clinton election. I do not have any doubts that a libertarian is a better choice than Obama, but the real focus should be to exhile Obama from office, preforably to Kenya with hi brother before he destroys anymore of our country, and its wealth.

It's too bad the republicans and democrats fear their inability to stand up to the truth in the presence of a 3rd party candidate like Gary Johnson. They would rather block him from debates so they don't look like the jackholes they are. That would get the voters to actually think about their vote and make an informed educated decision on who to vote for. The last thing either party wants is an educated and informed voter not listening to propaganda radio/news shows.

I am voting what I believe will fix the debt crisis. That's a business man with proven track. Just like Henry Ford he did not sell cars on credit till ten years after Chevrolet did. He thought credit would ruin America. That's why Ford didn't and wouldn't take the bail out, they didn't need it. That's good business management like Romney. This is a business world that needs business sense with a level of compasion.

Why am I so drawn to this thread? Gotta go with you on this point though Manche. I believe more needs to happen between elections to educate the general public. the rest of the almost dozen other parties TOGETHER won 1%.....

HR459 passed the house 327-98 with 89 democrats supporting the bill....

Republicans overwhelmingly support a full audit of the fed, as do some democrats.

furthermore, auditing and eliminating the fed is also supported by the constitution party.


Libertarians are going to fall further into the "pay-me-no-mind" void by continuing to distance themselves from conservatives and republicans with this silly cult-ish rhetoric.

I'm not mad. That was a response to a previous post. I used his words against him.

I am completely ok with the percentage we have.

Tell me this.........
Which departments of the government will Romney shut down and get rid of?
Will Romney not allow the fed to print money with no monetary backing?
Will he open forest lands to all users returning to the open unless posted closed policy?
Will he audit and end the control of our monetary system by a group of 12 "PRIVATE" banks, restoring the constitutions outline for congress to print money and set intrest rates?
Will he get our soldiers out of wars that we don't belong in?
Will he not get us into another war?
We he end a failed war on drugs?
Will he end the gov subsidies of everything from solar cells to the Chevy volt?

Your right, he is not Obama. His name is Romney. But he is just as bad. If on a scale of 1 to 10 good and evil. (10 being evil) if Obama is 10, Romney is 9. So ya, not as bad as Obama but still bad.

Libertarian vote in this presidential election IS a wasted vote or at worst a vote for Obama. Libertarians and their supporters need to gain ground in state and local levels first. That is where your vote counts. Whining about change and my candidate didn't get a chance is meaningless if you can't first garner local presence.

Hmmmmm.......... Our presidential nomination is Gov. Gary Johnson. Look up the records of the other 2 and compare theirs to Gov. Johnson's.

There are many current reps in the congress and senate that are actually libertarians at heart. The issue is that the USA has a 2 party system that has monopolized the political field. We can energize the voters all we want but until they stop listening to buttheads on fox news and the rest of the sheeple who tell them its a lost cause, and actually stand up for what's right and vote accordingly. We will continue to enlighten 1 mind at a time.

My vote will not be wasted nor will it be a vote for Obama. It is a vote for what I believe in to be right and just. I'm voting for you as much as I'm voting for myself.

Un fortunately if people have to look up a presidential candidate then your effort it half lost. People need hard evidence they need to have heard of these accomplishments and seen the results and not all at the last minute where it can not be confirmed!
