Depends on when you actually came up. We went up Saran Wrap first. Went quite a ways in and then stopped for lunch right at about 12:30. A couple of us went farther up until the snow covered the trail and we all turned back as a group sometime around 2pm. Then the group headed up Eagle Rock and got the group up the steep hill between 3:30 and 4pm and after trying to get all the open/open group up beyond the hill, it became pretty tedious having to keep one winch rig ahead of the group to constantly winch up past the ice in the road ruts. We made the "mature" decision to turn around and head back down. I think we all gathered in the big clearing at the base of both trails around 4:30/5pm or so. After that, Mike took the remaining smaller group up to Baldy and some other trail spurs and we all left the mountain around 5:30/6pm.
Personally, I call B.S. that you actually came up..........![]()

Ok guys I had a blast yesterday but here are a few "tips"
1. 30lbs is not aired down! don't care what rim or tire you run you can drop to under 20.
2. tow points!!! nuff said
3. sway bars.... toss the rears and disconnect the fronts
4. stay off the rev limiter... no need to floor it when getting winched
5. momentum is your friend learn how to bump
6. when using a spotter ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SPOTTER
class over next class will be the shake down run:cheers:
once i get the energy i will go out out to the jeep and grab my camera with a picture i clicked yesterday of my jeep in front of eagle rock... with my new rims on so you know its recent.
be honest... your only upset that you couldnt stare at my beautiful fiance again and give her a ride on your squeaky heep....
the best time to have your first beer is with a dewalt angle grinder with no handle or guard. makes things interesting. maybe we can even bust out the sawzall...
