Pismo run May 21-22

Well...

Got the Jeep loaded and the bag packed. Still up in the air a bit, it all depends on whether I get death wobble tomorrow morning on the way to work. If it wobbles I don't go. If it doesn't wobble I'll be there on the later side.

What's the plan around lunch-thirty? Lunch back at camp or on the dunes? I ask because I'd like to sleep in a bit if I can (been losing too much sleep lately!).

Hey, screw the DW....life's an adventure, right? :D

The dunes aren't like a trail ride, it's more like a huge play area. We're never more than a few miles from camp. I'd figure lunch back in camp, so sleep in.....if you can.

After coming home from work early because my house smelled like smoke.....Kathy called me and I said "call the fire dept"....we all got there about the same time. It ended up being a power strip in my computer desk, totally fried it and left soot and a nice black mark on the shelf inside the desk. The whole house smelled like electrical fire.......I was worried I might have to cancel the trip, whew!!!

New strip, power hooked up, computer on, everything works.......AND I'M WALKING OUT THE DOOR. See you cool guys in a few hours, the rest of you are suckers. :moon:

Woo HOO!!! what a fun day!!!

I had a blast, it was so much fun for me to be in the stock wrangler. Keeping up with the big boys (for the most part) Luckly this trip the only thing that rolled over was my ice chest.

Had fun driving my Jeep but driving the quad was a blast(even though I'm really sore now).
Probably the highlight of the trip though was watching that guy set himself on fire. :firedevil

Was a lot of fun - saw some good white trash engineering running around the dunes (that Nova!).

Seems the theme was blown hoses - I noticed when I was close to home that my AC wasn't working at all - popped the hood and there's an oily substance on the lines. Guess that's what took out my start relay (If that is the problem).

Bowls are fun........more fun in the Jeep than they are on a quad.
