The goal was to have a 79" total height and a 24 inch frame height. Its dead on. It looks tall cuz its so damn narrow and short.

I'm sure it's very light as well, at least compared to how much it was as a stock XJ! With being as light as it is and with your strong drivetrain you can sure get away with huge tires both in the strain on your drivetrain and also your huge amount of clearance and being able to dial everything in. It's neat not having to be forced to stay within stock parameters and work with all the sheetmetal, glass, etc and be able to create the trail beast you did!!!

Probably from a lack of frame of reference, but the top of the cage looks way higher than the top of the seats. Though if its at 79", that is fairly tall. How much room between your noggin and the roof?

With a helmet and the maniac behind the wheel. The cage is safe. IRRC its 46" from the bottom of the seat to the bottom of the cage. Safe is better than sorry. I am pretty sure that some classes require a 46" cage height.

I need a pic from the top to really show it. That's 1/8 plate, two pieces, from the corner of the UCA mount to each corner of the panhard mount......you can only see the rear plate in the pic. It makes a triangle if looking down from the top, and should be easily strong enough to handle it. There is also a gusset from the back of the LCA mount to the front of the panhard mount to increase the strength fore and aft, and I added the boxed gusset to the bottom of the UCA mount.

Here's a better shot of the dash wiring, and wires and air lines to the back. For now I just wire tied much of it, I'll go through and finish with P connectors later when I take it apart to paint it.
