Hello all you Knowledgeable Trail Gurus. I'm from the lower desert and me and some of my crew would like to find a nice trail for mild wheelin' and a picnic in some shade next to a creek... We passed one when I went with So Cal fest a couple years ago, but we didn't stop. Any info would be helpful thx Ed:)

Deep creek or Holcomb creek for a tough run. Devils hole if your rig is stock or close to it. Devils hole is deep and a fair amount of water if your planning to swim, but be warned...its cold!

I have seen one of those fish report boxes at devils hole, don't know for sure what laws apply as I'm not much of a fisher.

I don't think you can at deep creek. You can always fish at sliver wood, then wheel the fire roads to deep creek. That's what I plan to do in a few weeks or so.

let me know when I might try to tag along if that's cool

i'm not either just thought it might a good way to spend some quiet time with my step son.

Come to think of its, there was a guy fishing there a month ago when I was there.

Deep creek can only be fished with artificial lures and barb less hooks. Limit is two fish.
