JV run

Not that it matters now, since you'll be somewhere else, but for future reference...

Don't let Scrappy lead you at night in the Jack area.

1. He doesn't know where it is.

2. If you do find it, he'll get lost at the top, and lead you down a canyon that...

3. Ends in a vertical 500 foot drop to the valley floor.

So...

4. Let me know when you guys go, I'll show up in the morning with a salvage crew for parts I can sell to other guys here.

:D

Not looking too good right now...VegasAnthony won't know until Thursday morning if he will have the funds to drive out...

:dunno:

That sucks................... Kyung its all your fault.

It's just payback for Rick not being out there with us last time to suffer through that 5 hr recovery.:D

You should just move this run to the 30th-31st.:anon:

Can I x2 this? I am knee deep in a super busy insane build week... and no, I dont want to tell you what it is. :D

Plus I will be moved into the new place by then and can do a wheeling trip (I hope).

What do you think Matty?

Lets just do that then... if that weekend will work better. I dont want to go this weekend if there is only 2 of us... not the safest.
Just sucks we'll be missing the full moon!

Why cant yall show up that are not as built and run your own trails? I will gladly point out clawhammer to you and also check on you at 8am before I load the Jeep on the trailer :D

It's goin to be hot out there this weekend you guys are probly makin a good decision I will let you no how it went and the end of the month I will be doin Stoddard Valley for the last high desert run for me for this summer.......SANTA

Let me put this whole deal to bed, so to speak.
Normally phone calls are made and PM's are exchanged when we plan any trip that would exclude most of us. Rigs without lockers and that are still using stock steering components, stock axles etc are almost always welcome to come with us when we are not in JV. There isn't a one of you (that I have met) that I refuse to go wheeling with.
This particular trip started as a back channel run, but when Kyung couldn't make it we decided to see who else would like to come. As I stated in the first post, the 'accepting applications' was supposed to be interpreted as a joke. I did make that clear....
I'll keep the more difficult runs off the threads if you would like. I'd hesitate to call any of our runs 'hard core' as some have refered to them as. I have wheeled with Taylor, Sinclair (sp) as well as others who really are hard core, and we don't qualify!
But....truth be told, JV isn't a place for those unprepared and if you just can't get over it, there is probably nothing I can say or do (besides loaning you my rig!) that would change your mind.
Sorry...

:D
