GUNS & AMMO

That is what I was thinking. If it is purple, did you paint it, or did you order purple parts?

GUNS & AMMO

My feeling is that Taurus sucks.

The design of the p3at and Ruger are nearly identical, but the fit/finish of the Ruger is quite a bit better than the Keltec.

Personally, .380 ammo has been harder and cheaper to come by than 9mm, and if you're intent on a pocket pistol there is the Ruger LC9.

I was chatting with Matt, I think you met him, gray 2 door no top all caged in 2" pipe back homeish,
He's got both the Taurus and lcp
Says he's had far less trouble out of his Taurus
Guess that lcp is always jamming

I've carried the 32 version of that keltec and liked it

9mm is just a bit Big for my pocket
And if I'm going that big I've got an m&p 9 that doesn't fit in my pocket either

The LC9 is a lot smaller than the m&p, and 9mm is so much more than .380.

I had a Taurus that never gave me problems until it turned into a paperweight one day. A cast metal part broke in half. Taurus fixed it, I sold it.

I've seen my mom's p38t jam, my 2 LCP have never. Go to a shop and look at them side by side, you will see the differences. They are differences in quality, not design.

Ammunition and factory magazines are also crucial. As an example, I have 1 pro-mag for my beretta m96. Jams, every, time. Factory mags are flawless. Also, these mouse guns are prone to filling up with pocket lint when carried. A wipe down every evening and a full cleaning weekly to keep them functional is a must.

I have two factory magazines for my lcp and it is in my pocket almost daily, a little disappointed with its bluing getting scratched on the top of the slide so fast but I don't use a holster so that is to be expected.

Glock.... the rest are just immitation combat weapons. I might go for a Sig or H&K but after shooting many sidearms I can say without a doubt Glock rules! :smoker:
