Dana 300 question

Taking the entire drive chain out of an 98 xj to build a small buggy. Its got the 4.0l and the man 5 speed. im assuming its the AX15?

My question is if im clocking it to run the drivers side pumkin axle, will the AX15 work with a clocking ring? Also if i didnt want to clock it and run different axles with passenger side pumkins, would the 300 bolt up?
