Hello. First post here. I have a 1999 Cherokee SE XJ (original owner), 4L, 6 inline, 5 speed manual with 4 WD.
I put my coolant system under a pressure test and see there's a hairline fracture in a plastic box looking component that seems attached to the radiator (on the front passenger side of vehicle). This is where the radiator hose attaches to just before the radiator, there's a plastic part the hose mates with. 2 questions: Is this a separate part from the radiator that can be replaced on its own (as opposed to having to replace the entire radiator) and does this part have a name so I can look for a replacement? I guess a third question -- is it possible to repair a hairline crack? Thanks very much for your thoughts.
