collection of jeep stuff(build/blog)

Well.. Rubicon was a blast. Wheeled in late. Got to soup bowl at dark and worked it til I made it up...

My RE springs + the recent added stock main are totally done.. I don't think I will have funds to buy any before I head off to school. But who knows I may splurge if I sell some things and handle some bills.

Broke another tail light and messed the hatch up a bit.. No biggie hatch has been pretty beat. It still opens and closes somewhat easy.

don't know if I am going to do another trip this season. Pretty tapped.

Need:
New leaf backs
rebuild front shocks buy new rears.
bump stop
fix hatch
windshield

End ramble

You started early and did a lot of wheeling this summer so some well disserved rest before school maybe a needed brake.

Next spring will be here before you know it and it will be time to start again.

Have fun in school Pat.

Where are ya going to school?

And kevin likes his bds springs and my iros worked really well even while fully loaded this past trip. Just watch out..they might have more than 12in of travle in them because i ripped off my 12in travel shock back there after jumping the thing

I might have some used leaves you can have

True skip I've done a lot of trips this year.. and my jeeps been a daily the whole time :) it's been a really fun year of wheeling and was really hoping to knock fordyce and sr off the list again this year. But that may not happen.

As far as springs I'm 90% sure I'll get the bds 5". Rebuild the foxs up front and buy some for the rear.
Also my exhaust needs an overhaul. Hangers broken smashed cat mufflers rubbing the ds and leaf spring and horrible exhaust leaks

These are the pics i got off you from cantina! It was nice to finally meet and wheel a little with you... thanks for the eggs for the radiator! Next time i hope im in my own rig

you guys had to egg a radiator ? Ive heard of that , but did not think it would work. it held up?

Well we shoved the mechanical fan into the radiator more like the fins on the fan clutch that balance the fan? It definelty slowed the leaking down enough to get us back to our tools at camp.. we where invited to stay on the auburn jeep clubs private property before ellis creek... Someone at camp had some liquid steel we used to patch up the holes and we tried to pinch off the tubes that where leaking... we let the liquid steel harden over night. in the morining we topped everything off and drove it back to sac it didnt even get over 210 on the way home... I guess the egg trick works on small leaks not fan grinding a half circle into the radiator and we found out your not suppose to use the yolk just the egg whites...

Hahaha dann pretty crazy!

Jon these yotas used tree sap eggs and some other shot for there hole.. and then messed more shit up at soup bowl. Was a good shit show!
