Jawa: What do you care? You'll be running with the group right? You won't see the Carnage run......... :twak: :D

I believe Ken (Rokken) and I will run it and Led said he's a maybe with his rig. If Led ain't there to run it or spot us, then I'll just join the group - the group stuff is fun too.
 
Aaaah, didn't realize the runs would take place separately. I was figuring you may run Chinaman and then hit up Carnage afterwards. :dunno:

Just realized, the word I was looking for was "concurrently" rather than "separately. :doh: I guess it still conveys the same idea. I'd love to see you guys go over Carnage... I walked a bit of it this year and thought Holy Crap!
 
Indeed, that would be uber-cool if we could make the Chinaman's run and then hit Carnage but Carnage can take all day - literally. Even if it's only 2 rigs. It's THAT technical of a trail. I ran it twice in my previous yellow rig and I was pretty friggin' exhausted afterwards.

Although, it could be interesting to run Carnage up to the V-notch and back after Chinamans........ I don't imagine we'd see any other rigs coming up after us that late.......... But that also would depend on how long it took for the group to get through Chinamans...... that too can take all day. :dunno:

Whaddya think Led? Run with the group and then flex 'em out for just a part of Carnage? Or break up the Shakedown event with two trails?
 
The best way to handle this one is to get everyone who shows together and get an idea of who would like to run Carnage. Then if there is enough intrest split the run or just run Chinamans and see who is up for Carnage afterwards.

ya i think that will be an on the trail head decision...
im down for anything....my jeep on the other hand...is not so ready
 
I still have the old multimount winch. I'm going to hard mount it, but need to extend my front bumper. I don't know if I'll have that done before the 18th. I also want to add a skid plate, but could probably be easily talked into running carnage.
 
I haven't been here for a while. Really looking forward to getting out soon. Saw the annual Chinaman's run and was stoked. Unfortunately.... I have to work that week end.:(

Hope to see you guys out though. Might try for Colofest again or Moab fall.
 
I am still hoping to come but they are trying to get me to work... If i am not able to make this run then i will have to run it some other time...
 
If I get my steering work done, I'm in! I have never done this trail, looks fun for a shakedown run...
 
I'm in for sure ... I invited a TJ :gag: I hope no one minds hes almost got the wheelbase of an XJ now plus he wants to run carnage and I told what a great group of ppl are here in the NAXJA group!
