They don't work as good as they used to. They're also less than half the tread as they were new. Hoping this puts some life back into them

Well....the questionis, why? and why not?

Figured I'd copy a post from another thread in here as an update

Got the springs in. Shackles did not work out. The rear axle would move 2" side to side with the extra length.

I threw the old 1" shackle back on. With the axle free hanging I'm pulling about 9" of down travel. With the long shackle I got all 12" as expected.

Flexing out I still pull all 12" with the the short shackle. I'm going to pull the sway bar up front off as it seems the rear is doing all the work with the new springs.

Some pics.

As you can see I have lost about an inch of up travel going to the deavers. The shocks are not charged either so I'm assuming that will probably bump it up another 1/2".

I'm going out of town, I'll revalve the shocks and get the shaft bumps on next week.

I'm thinking he's talking about the dick pics.

:eyes:

haha! yup....all this talk of Jeep crap is just plain silly. If I had snapchat, I would either have a cult following or a lot less friends....it would be a toss up.

i've seen yota guys run shackles like that. wonder how they are doing it.

A pan-hard bar will more than likely be required to keep the axle centered. Since the shackles are now free to move side to side, the axle is relying solely on the U bolts to keep it square to the chassis.

I went ahead and updated the product page on our website to reflect this as well.

Revalved the shocks tonight and got it all back together for the final time. What a difference the deavers made. Almost doesn't feel leaf sprung.

255/100 valving is what the bilstein engineer recommended @ 250 psi
