Too much woopow
Put about 400 miles on it this weekend. Spent about 30 seconds at R&V, decided to try the rock bouncer obstacles and blew the 9" to pieces. Destroyed the drivers shaft, spool, and third member. I think I can save the gearset.
Ron tracked down some parts for me, ended up throwing a 3.55 open third and a modified late model brake shaft to get me home.
Thing is a dog with the 3.55's but upside is the drive shaft is turning so much slower I cruised 80-85 the entire ride home with no vibes from the winterfest bent shaft. Ride was smooth as can be, not many jeeps let alone full width DIY beadlocked cut up rigs can do that.
Awesome weekend! And thank you Dan for letting us all stay at your place and thank you kman for letting me steal the truck to go play jeep part American Pickers.

I'm going to try to machine the hubs for 5x5.5. It's not ideal but I'm not ready to buy tires and wheels yet (I would go to 17"s)
