Well when I started my first real job some of the guys who didn't know my name started calling me "scooby" because I had a Scooby Doo t-shirt that I would ware to work all the time. I also drove a green minivan that got dubbed the "Mysterymachine" Well now I drive an XJ so hence scoobyxj. I was also called Billy, and my mom calls me T. So either scoob, Billy, or T will work. Oh, and I'll answer to Asshole too.

the name originated from the lyrics to "born to be wild"

the part of the song that goes "heavy metal thunder"

friends and i a long while back thought that was a fitting name for a hulking offroad vehicle that i was hoping the XJ to become, and with all the damn steel armor ive been tossing on, the name fits more and more every day :)

First car I actually paid for with my own money in highschool... 86 dodge daytona CS Turbo Z ....Sold it about 8 years ago but ive used that name for my email addresses since then.

Tim Bentley

I started as T Bent, that was before I was turned into a newt. I got better.

Name of my truck sort of. About 9 years ago, Took a friend for a test drive, he said that it climbed like a cat. I figured it had a few tricks in the bag, so I put a Felix magnet on it & it just stuck right under the Cherokee logo

Well I used to mod at a Mitsubishi board, I went by my first name there, but when I went to another board that name was taken. I then came up with macka (because people with my last name are called macka in Australia) from a friend who called me that, and mitsu because I used to have a Mitsubishi Montero (Dodge Raider) and the slang for a mitsubishi product is mitsu. So I put them together.

So where did 5-90 come from?
I know! Not sure if it is common knowledge though so I'll keep it quiet! HoRa! (Is that spelled right?)
