XJs in Movies

In the BonJovi video for "Always", he about runs a white XJ off the road. In my own defense, I was trying to find out who Carla Gugino was.

Three more books with XJ's

One for the Money - Janet Evanovitch (XJ explodes)
Two for the Dough - Janet Evanovitch (Different XJ driven by drive by shooter)

Dry Ice - Stephen White (cop's daily driver)

Well as a tribute to a recently lost actor - Naked gun 33 1/3. Red 4 door pulling into a driveway

Might not be a movie........but the new Hilfiger commercial uses a Grand Waggy through the entire scene. Looks like a nice rig.

I think there's one in the new Call of Duty commercial, guys talking trash to his buddy on the phone while getting pulled over, cop hears it and is in the process of dragging his ass out by the end of the commercial.

In the BBC series 'Bugs', Jesse Birdsall's character drives an XJ for at least the first couple of seasons, IIRC.

Lots of XJ's in the X-Files. The Air Force security used lots of white XJ's. Scully's brother had a silver XJ. A guy was living out of the back of an XJ in a CSI episode.

Well, I'm going to bring this thread back, looks like there will be a new Horror Movie released that the "Teenager Victims" in the movie are going to be driving a all white pre-97 XJ 4dr.

Munger-Road---Trailer.jpg

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1720172/

Apparently it was shot not too far from where I live and even closer to the stores I've worked at over the last 15 years. Supposedly it's based around some of the urban legends that surrounded that road. Never driven down it at night, several times during the afternoon rush time period, but that's it and have yet to run across anything "funny" there personally. I should ask Dad more about it though, he used to work for the rail road that owned those tracks (they're now owned by Canadian National), and helping do some survey work on that right of way back in high school.

BTW, if anybody is wondering about Powis Rd. mentioned in some of the YouTube Comments, don't ask me why that's scary, it can be un-nerving during blizzard conditions and this R35 may occasionally prowl it, as well as nearby Sterns and Munger Roads, but it's not exactly a scary road:dunno:
