axles are in the box. axle is complete, just apart. i thought it was 30 spline, but i honestly didnt even look, just assumed.

So what did you do AFTER lunch? LOL

got a freebie d60 today. i know it's nothing special, but i figured i'd grab it. came out of a later model ford e250.
this is a rainy day project for when i wear my d44 and 35's out.
also got a new steering box to replace my broken POS, made a new track bar and axle bracket, put in a wj power steering pump, and one of my prp seats. also got the rear cargo area interior pannels back in, welded in d ring tabs for straping stuff down back there, and bedlined the rear floor. everything is working good so far, im really happy with the way it wheels. there's definitely a few things that could use a little help, but nothing major.

I like checkin back here on this site for progress like this... gives me hope and insperation. Its amazing getting around the internet drama and to find some projects from beamer to yours dan and how grimm shares a miracle of life. Its like a family enviroment just bad relatives cruise over now and then not lately

so i decided it's 110f out, so why not wrench on my jeep. Just got my Stinky Fab motor mounts, which i DESPERATELY needed. It was getting bad.
Thought about the Brown Dogs, but i like supporting local guys when i can, and StinkyFab is here in Escondido so i was able to pick them up. Also, they're actually a little cheaper and they looked pretty cool too. I'll be putting these on today as well as swapping my cracked header.

You think you can weld a nut to what's left and spin it out?

nope, it's broken beneath the surface.

almost thinking of welding the manifold on in that corner. it's a replacement manifold with the flex zones so it wont crack, and the motor has an abusive 220k miles on it, what are the odds i'll need to take it off again before the motor or head comes out? lol

just started it, doesnt seem to be leaking yet, but i assume it will eventually.

i just left it for now. it will be little to no more work to fix it when it leaks vs right now.
got the motor mounts in and boy what a difference. i can actually shift now! slight bit more vibes, but i think i stopped noticing it after a few minutes, it's not THAT much worse. the plates went on nice, passenger side is the hardest due to the alt in the way, but not bad. i may do a step by step writeup with install pics in mod tech, i learned a few things a long the way that might save some time for others.
