Where do you wheel when it's hot?

I'm tired of the Cleghorn/Arrowhead/Big Bear area, but I'm looking to do some day trips this summer.

What other non-desert trails are within an hour or two drive of OC?

There's always Hungry Valley in Gorman

theres a practice course there as well as some other trails but i haven't run them

Ive never been (dont like mud) but a lot of people go to Azusa Canyon.

Last time I went to azusa it was really dry and I had fun bombing around and teaching my friend how to drive my rig.

I play out here in Palm Springs and sometimes i go to truckhaven. It hasn't been that hot out here in the desert this year. Even JV has been kinda cool if you ask me. OH i am a true desert rat not like them there fair weather offroaders.
PLus my jeeps do have AC if needed in the canyons out here
