airsoft quality pellets = 20.00 ceramibeads = 160.00 or more simple math

How did you get $160. I come up with about $60 at most. What am I missing?

BTW I think I'm going with the permanent solution.....Centramatics.

I know you can buy a lot of pellets for $200.

amount spent by a friend who has them in his rig, about 10 oz per tire x 5 tires

airsoft is the only way to go, I use top quality ones, not the yellow plastic ones, they chip and fall apart after a few months

There are different types of airsoft pellets....the hard, brittle, almost clear ones and the more solid, slightly flexable, opaque ones. You want the ones i described secondly....they wont chip or wear out like the other ones will.

They dont have to be specific airsoft brand....but if you hit them on the floor with a hammer and they shatter(like the clear ones will) then you need to get the other ones.

I am also of the opinion, that although golf balls could be used, they are pressureized and the skin would sheer off after a short time leaving the ball to explode and leave fragments inside, making it not balance as it should after that.

golf balls do not explode. i've cut many of them open to prove that theory and they were just hard plastic shells with solid rubber inside. have yet to find one to explode. other than you ones you buy in joke shops.

metal bb's will rust, chip the paint of the inside of the wheels causing them to rust, etc..etc...etc...

What about lead shot for shot gun shell reloading? Soft, won't rust, heavy, available in many sizes, etc.

B-loose
