  • Hi I'm in so Cal and get around 112 degrees in the summer. I've been looking for a good radiator to run. What kind of radiator do you run and what kind of temps?

They're good guys and do some nice work. I actually was at a Jeep meet last night that they hosted.

I have a 90 with a built 4.1 with an 11-1 compression ratio HO head and assorted goodies including a Hesco water pump. It's quick for a beast and holds 80 easily at altitude. It has a 25-year-old cheap two row aluminum radiator. It easily weighs 5k, is on 35's and I live at 6k feet. I only need the electric fan in continual stop lights in 90-degree heat, or in 4-lo climbing at 11k feet.

I just bought a cheapo aluminum radiator with plastic tanks. It seems to be doing much better. On hot days going up long grades it's been staying between 210 and what ever that next mark is. Once I crest the hill it quickly returns to about 210 or 212.
