Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Anytime my friend. Wendy and I aren't nearly as active as you & D seem to be, but you're welcome to stay here anytime you're in town. I don't see how you can pack so much activity into a weekend. Wendy and I do well to do one or two things before we're ready to crash lol

We will be back down that way again but probably in Atlanta. D wants to go to the aquarium there. IDK when yet though.

I was going to drive my '88 to work today and let it stretch it's legs but it had a dead battery. I'm hoping that Jack turned on the dome lights when he was with me during the column repair. If that's not it, I'm going to pull all of my hair out (and I don't have too much left up top).

Well, I still haven't got to drive it yet. Went home last night and swapped out batteries with one I had on a maintainer that I thought was good. According to my tester, it has 31 cca and 12.19V in it and says to replace it. It is almost 6 years old with sporadic usage at best so I can't complaint to much.

I'm taking home a new battery to install tonight. I'm hoping for the best.

Death wobble has struck again. First time in years this has happened. I've always had a slight shimmy since the axle swap that I've always shrugged off as unbalanced 38s. Last night it was full on DW. I'm going to dive into it Monday and see what's worn. I won't plan on actually replacing anything until some new tires show up. This means it now a trailer queen for a little while.

I'm beginning to despise my Grand Cherokee. Read in the tow rig and other vehicles section why.

Finally got around to making a new windshield washer bottle

My wife has a house that she is selling for a client, and we stopped by today to turn off lights after a showing and she showed me the garage and basement. What really was cool to me was these oil change ramps. The backyard is sloped down and there is about a 6 foot drop off the driveway into the yard. The owner had these ramps build out of concrete and pilings so that he can drive his vehicle onto them to do fluid changes and under the car type work.

Went to a work day at a new park 30 min form the shop. Worked until about 2 cutting a couple new trails on Saturday then we wheeled some and was shown the park. 300 acres and lots of ravines to climb in. Borders Lynches river with a nice trail along it. Broke a D60 stub being stupid. Sunday I worked on helping Deanna burn the stuff I cut down a few weeks ago.

I drove like a million miles to Kentucky, hung out with KP, Ryan, Ed, Mark, and others... wheeled Turkey Bay. Then drove home.

How did I not know about this adventure. :-(

Got the 60 housing under the front of the MJ. Discovered both stock stubs had cracked ears ...still waiting for one new one to get here. Other than installing that u-joint the only major things left to do are put the shaft sin and knuckles back together...have everything for that. Then get my axle side track bar bracket welded on and the tube ends welded into the DOM for my tierod and drag link. So it's close! I should at least have it down on all 4's this weekend.
