Weekend is over...what did you get done?

So I'm thinking about Lexan for a replacement on the windshield. No one locally has what I need so I was thinking about two options. One sheet of 24" x 60" cut to shape and bolted in or two pieces of 24" x 30" with a small strip in the center to bolt to. Thoughts?

Lowes has some pretty thick stuff in the lumber section over in Camden. Looks like two sheets would do ya. $?

Yea I got a single sheet at the Lowe's here and had them cut it in half. Trimmed it up last night and realized the #6 .5" screws didn't have enough bite. So I'll go to Lowe's at lunch and get a different box. On board air tanks and compressor should arrive today. I'll get that mounted up as soon as I can. T-6 days!
 
So was asked if they could use my jeep for some music video that they shot today. Some band called "The Lacs", not really my style of music, but had a fun time driving around town for the filming. Cleanest my jeep has gotten in years, even added 3 cans of spray paint to shiny it up.
 
That's cool. The Lacs play that country rap. They played one of the free stages at CMA Fest a couple weeks ago. They are in the same genre as Colt Ford, Bubba Sparxx, Big Smo, and Lenny Cooper. Not my favorite music either, but listen on occasion.
 
Don't care at all for these guy's music, hadn't even heard of them till yesterday. But a friend of a friend recommended my jeep, and thought it sounded like fun, so hey it gets to make it on TV! We filmed at a bunch of spots around town here, mostly just driving back and forth in front of a camera, he even had a really high quality quad-copter taking aerial shots.

The girl on the supposed "date" for the video, was really fricken hot. Unfortunately I wasn't the guy in front of the camera that was supposedly taking her out, had to let some other guy take control of my jeep for that. And I didn't even manage to get her phone number, but she was some city person from Nashville.

Colt Ford isn't quite as bad, I heard him down in Florida maybe 6 years ago. And I met Big Smo's wife at the only bar here in town about a month ago, she's friends apparently with a girl I know that goes there regularly. I hadn't heard of him before that, apparently I'm not very culturally up to date.

I think I fixed my Jeep. No clue what was wrong with it. Front right stopped pulling. I swapped the Warn Premium hub for a stock D44 slug and she's pulling now... I see nothing wrong wtih the hub though. I sure hope the issue isn't in my locker.
 
A stock slug? What were they stock on?

That happened to me once with that axle.... The front right quit pulling somewhere in mtn city and when i went to load it on the trailer all 4 pulled fine

Oh yea that was a great trip! So glad I got to wheel up there some before it was closed.

I think it's "Tonight on Repeat"? And yes, they do all sound the same, I don't care for the sound. But, I got to show off my jeep and hang out with a bunch of my friends from around town for a day.

Well, I like The Lacs. Kickin up Mud sounds good no matter what your musical preference is. Some songs are just good regardless.

I finally made some progress on my 01XJ. Got the Megashort SYE and custom driveshaft installed. IRON Rock 6.5 inch lift torqued and full alignment. Best feeling ever to drive it yesterday. Been working on it for a few months now. Trying to find the best mounting brackets for my new 50 in LED light bar. Don't wanna drill holes in my XJ. I have a Surco roof rack. Any ideas?
