Weekend is over...what did you get done?

That's pretty much my plan, too. Come in on Friday, hang out at Crawford's, wheel Saturday, hang out some more at Crawford's that evening/night, pack up and go back home Sunday.

IDK when I'll get there Friday. Probably diner time or after. Saturday I plan on coming to Crawford's and hang before heading back to the cabin.

We should be on our way by 2:00~ish, so we should be getting there around 5-5:30. I'm taking the longer way around through Ellijay to avoid Blood Mountain. The old Suburban pulls great but if I have the option for an easier, less mountainous route I'll take it to help make it last as long as possible.

Went to Atlanta this weekend for Supercross at the dome last night. Stump and Mrs. Stump were there, but sitting clear across the arena from us. Didn't get a chance to meet up and chat for a bit, but sent strobe signals back and forth using the flash on our phones to pin point where we were sitting!

Did a little cutting.....

So what's the final plan with that project?

As for me, I tried earlier in the week to start mine with no luck. Engine would barely turn over, even with the jump start setting on my charger. I got it started yesterday and immediately figured out why it wouldn't turn over the other day. Alternator is locked down solid. Went to PAP this morning and got a '96 ZJ 136 amp unit to replace mine.

Right now the plan is to have a tube from rear c hoop to b hoop. Triagulated from above the shock mount to the c hoop and b hoop. then a piece back on the bottom to the c hoop above the shackle boxes. Might do a straight piece from the shackle boxes up to the b hoop first though. Also an x and harness bar behind the seats. Crude paint drawing but something like this.

Of course its all up in the air atm.

Since you got rid of the body, there's nothing confining your tube work. You should redo your existing tube to maximize strength and space. Those tubes in the back should be straight and mounted to the important bits.

Damn you Josh.... now you got me thinking..... :dunce:

All goofy jokes aside, are you going to move the fuel tank up?

Not before DT..... It's a thought though. I guess I should have put this in my thread and not here.... oh well.

I'm thinking you should chop the whole back off and do this.

I don't have the time nore the desire to do that actually..... yet. I'd like to swap to coil-overs or ORI's up front before I four link the rear.

Ho will be disappointed, he has been trying to cut up your rig for years!

I agree with Josh, ditch all the tube from the B pillar back. In your drawing, green lines, yes. Blue lines, for certain. Red lines, no.
