Believe it or not it doesn't stick that bad. I thought it would at first but it rinses right off.


I'm pretty set on Semi Gloss Gray and Black in the COOL places.

Jp Magazine had an article on how to spray oil based rustoleum. You can do the whole jeep for $50.

You just need to thin the paint 50/50 and filter it well into a cheap HVLP gun. They even sprayed it in a makeshift tarp booth when it was 80 degrees outside to prove it could be done.

Depends on how many times you want to use it and what quality job you want.

If you're looking at a one time paint job, the harbor freight gun will do the job. If you want semi-professional results, you're going to want a nicer gun.

There's a lot of information on the net about how to set the gun up. I've got a street rod magazine in the drawer from this summer that talks about spray patterns and how to get an even spray from a first timer's perspective.

Andy if u ever came and visited I just bought a bedliner gun used for duplicolor/rustoleum....u could use both are around $50 a gallon
Not suppose to be the same texture as hurculiner there both smoother

let me understand this liner idea.. on paint. you get it dirty it comes off pretty easy but on liner.. its got nooks and crannies like an english muffin.. how does the dirt come off then?

So why not just get a mat black color instead?

A good stiff brush for scrubbing boats gets bedliner clean in a jiffy. Been keeping the Dirtymax bed (Linex) clean for years with one brush, does the Jeep lower section as well.

This raptor liner is pretty smooth but yet still holds things in place its not sticky, but it doesn't have the same type of nooks and crannies like hurculiner.

Glad to be out of holiday traffic. Spent 3 hours in traffic this morning trying to get stuff done, then another 45min-1hour trying to get out of town for Thanksgiving.
