So I have been cleaning out and organizing an amazing amount of stuff from my predecessor at my new job. For some reason he used an odd coupler that looks/works like a pressure washer line for the air hose. I have been dealing with it, as other priorities have had my attention today.

The $#(%&#$% coupler blew apart today with my impact gun in hand today. I felt like someone from the Matrix dodging the flailing hose to make it to the compressor.

So ready for the beach Friday!
 
Trying to explain to the Italians that when they screw up and forget to send hydraulic line reducers from Italy for a HUGE project i'm working on, I can't simply go down the road and get 300 of them and come back. Stupid British threads!

not the weekend, but i installed a new tomken rear bumper on wednesday. pix later.....
 
Bushwacker flat fender flares arrived via UPS at work a couple days ago addressed to me. I didn't order them and probably wouldn't have chosen that style, but since they were there...... I decided to open them and see what they looked like.

To my surprise, they were for a TJ, not an XJ:rattle:
It seems that the owner of the TJ that I'm babysitting for a year thought I didn't have enough to do in my spare time and wanted them on his ride.:wierd:

I guess along with a topend rebuild and a new clutch, I'll be installing some flares during it's stay with me.
 
Lost my ass at the casino last night! Went out to one of the Oreillys in Indy last night, A bunch of badass cars from a blown 70's Challenger to an 800 wheel hp Supra, F-body's, Mustangs, Subarus and all kinds of shit. Everyone got along and there were no people out there causing a damn scene.

Only plans I have for it are to fix the nick nac things that are wrong with it. I need a few small parts and a drivers seat. The guy that owned it was a fat ass and the seat bracket is broke. It also has a tiny exhaust leak that needs to be fixed. It's at the muffler, I think. I haven't looked yet.

Now, on the other hand, my wife wants about a 1-2" budget boost, Moab wheels and some BFG A/Ts. :)
 
got some 2x4 tube to replace the rockers. got to weld the front bumper, dang weld cracked from pulling an f250 out the snow over the winter. cold weather and a 7,500 lb truck isnt good for a 8k lb winch on a 3k lb jeep haha.

this weekend will be more exciting, but its not her yet so i'll fill ya'll in when it ends. haha
 
Wish I could make it out there. Got back from the beach camping trip yesterday with the gas light on in the Jeep and to a $200 bill in the mailbox for property taxes on my car....surprise!!!! :banghead:
 
Got an Aussie Locker on order and need to get the SYE ordered tonight or tomorrow.
