worked and class and took two new pic.s of the jeep
Intalled 4 degree shims to improve rear driveshaft angle. Didn't realize the center pin would not be long enough to reach the hole in the axle mount THROUGH the shim... took them out and flipped them over for more depth. Took a little longer than expected, a little more humid than desired, but I think it's done.
Also installed rear EBC brakes on the Vibe GT to match the fronts. Now time to "season" the rotors. Who knew you needed to season new rotors?:viking:
Get a spare set. You most likely bent the pin with the shims and it will eventually break.
Apparently a welded diff and wheelin. But who does that anymore!! I'm sure there are a few things that could cause it, but that seems to be what caused mine to break.I hope note, I did radius the hole in the shim to fit the nut through. What causes it to bend?
