I tightened my track bar. Amazing what a tight track bar will do to eliminate wobbles and vibes!
What engine does it have in it? Any plans for a SBF swap? What kinda tires you gonna put on it? Just curious, you don't see many SAS bronco 2s/rangers on the trail.
Got my insurance check in! Now I can replace the $1700+ worth of tools that were stolen. Just in time cause I have a big job coming up next week.
finished my orientation with werner enterprises, and i'm getting in a trainer's truck in about an hour or so. i'll be on the road for the next 6-14 weeks, with no opportunity to see home or family. i'm excited to see the country and get paid for it, but at the same time i'm not sure if i can handle the homesickness....
Nope, it was out of my chevy truck. Had just done a nice job for 4WP the day before. Lucky for me insurance covered it, well most of it. I was able to buy two of the tools on ebay and save enough to make up the difference. Good thing cause I have a few hundred school buses to get knocked out over spring break.Didn't realize your stuff was stolen. Break into the Jeep?
more projects added to the list.... ah crap....

When did that happen? That is the Waggy D44 isn't it?
yup i think it happened some time last year..... maybe at callalantee when i thought i broke a hub and the front stopped spinning, if so its been that way for a good solid year
Andy aren't you a machinest? Just drill and tap a stock box. That is what I run and so far its worked fairly well.
Doug, repeat after me........' Bobby Longfield cryo and heatreat '........
I'm suprised it lasted as long as it did!
Eh... I don't think that's a must for Doug's rig, he doesn't have that much power or weight, and its just 37s with no heavy beadlocks. Its more likely deflection from a stock carrier that caused the problem, or (no offense Dougie) a not so great set up. Usually the cross pin should fail before the gears if everything else was right. If you got the time and an extra $55 bucks laying around the cryo stuff isn't a bad idea though, just be sure you get a perfect pattern on them when they go back in, and inspect the carrier for issues really well (check runout with a dial indicator) and you should be golden.
