Weekend is over...what did you get done?

yes she is.... ive already got most of the suspension knocked out, in that pile is a set of 4.5 inch RE springs and some comanche leaves, im gonna run the manche leaves to a spring mount on a rear bumper like on this xj here.

we also picked up an hp30 to build and are currently on the lookout for an 8.25 to toss in, im thinking about throwing a three link together for it too so it should be sweet

Who's XJ is this? How are those "Fender Flare" tube thingys still on there?

Well I did my clutch for what feels like nothing. I messed something up with the lines into the slave cylinder, and when I went to bleed the system after putting everything back together, fluid just poured out of the bellhousing.

got tims old beadlocks painted and mounted up.

now i just need to paint the jeep

Dunno about the TPS, but as long as there aren't any vacuum leaks it shouldn't change when you unplug the IACV - at least on OBD I/II. Not sure how the RENIX IACV works, is it a stepper motor too? If you unplug the IACV and then stomp on the brakes I would expect the motor to surge momentarily.

I needed to work on the engine and I couldn't reach it and I couldn't find my ladder.

I figured this was the easiest solution:

Will that cherry picker lift it back up? That's a lot of weight with the picker way out front. I guess you will find out, huh? :D

Yeah, I believe the RENIX is a stepper motor too. I always thought that the idle was supposed to change when you unplugged the TPS and/or IACV. Guess I'm wrong.

Yeah, it'll pick it back up. If not I'll go get the tractor with the hay bale spike on the front of it. lol I don't have a garage but I got a farm with big equipment right down the street... Ya do what ya gotta do, I guess.

I would have put it on jack stands but it was either but axle parts or jackstands... You see what I chose.

Should do it right and get yourself a couple of cinder blocks... :gee:

lol, mine are still puppies.

I don't have a good picture of the other one... I took this picture this morning when I got home from work. The sun rise made everything look orange. lol

Uh OH! Almost time to slide it under the Jeep to measure the tracbar and drag link! WOOT!

Still gotta box in the top of the bracket. Do ya think that 1/4-20 bolt will be enough for the tracbar? I think it will hold. I'm only running 42's, anyways.
